Aviation and Astronautics
This is a new study programme at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Opole University of Technology.
Candidates should be interested in creative engineering work, aviation technology and its challenges, as well as aviation and astronautics as a whole.
Graduates of aviation and astronautics can find employment in civil and military aviation, ground services utilising aviation equipment, aviation industry manufacturing and maintenance plants, air transport, as part of airport ground staff and in air transport infrastructure.
The programme offers the education necessary to work as an aviation engineer and design aircraft, and the well-rounded technical education allows graduates to find employment with aircraft and other machine manufacturers. They are prepared to conduct research and construction work on aircraft engines, as well as being able to quickly adapt to the needs of other types of machines thanks to the general engineering education and computer-assisted design classes. Graduates of this programme can find employment in civil and military aviation, land services utilising aviation equipment and aviation industry manufacturing and maintenance plants.
