Science and Technology Park

The Opole Science and Technology Park is a Business Environment Institution – a non-profit organisation which offers comprehensive entrepreneurship support. The company was established on 8 November 2012 by the President of Opole, and the city holds 100% of its shares. The STP in Opole is a place where science and business meet and where opportunities are created for discovering and implementing new technological solutions on the interface of these two worlds. The Park offers conditions which facilitate economic and scientific growth of Opole and the entire region by supporting both existing and new projects. The company is a platform enabling partnerships between the worlds of business and science, indirectly creating new jobs for young graduates of the local universities. Innovative companies from Opole gain access to specialised research laboratories, advanced ICT infrastructure, high-class office space and other kinds of facilities and services required to operate for the benefit of the local community and the region. The Park also employs its own patent attorney.
