Restauracja Starka

Starka was established in 1999. Its name comes from the Silesian language, in which STARKA means grandma. The restaurant is located in a historic tenement on the bank of the Oder, located about 250 metres from the Market Square. The building houses three rooms.
The first is the “rural” room, which is Bavarian in style. It features wooden tables and benches, old-fashioned equipment and timber framing. The decorations make the room look like an old Bavarian house. It can seat up to 40 guests at its 9 tables and 6 guests at the bar.
Those who are looking for something more elegant will surely enjoy the second room. The “banquet” room is the one most closely referencing the name of the restaurant. Its furnishings are reminiscent of an old grandma’s room from the interwar period. White tablecloths and family photographs on whitewashed walls create the cosy, familiar atmosphere of this small, 30-person room.
The newest room, the year-round terrace, was opened in June 2011. Its glazed surface neighbouring the river is an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature regardless of season. The terrace can house up to 40 guests.
All rooms are air-conditioned and ventilated.
The Menu consists of unique recipes and flavours. The family atmosphere harmonises perfectly with the food.
