Little Song Academy
The Little Song Academy is a joint project organised by the Opole Museum of Polish Song, the Association of Friends of Opole and the National Centre of Polish Song, dedicated for kindergarteners and early primary school students. For several years now, the purpose of the classes has been to teach children about music. Example topics include differences between music genres and concepts such as voice, scale, accompaniment, tone, arrangement and rhythm. Children also learn how both artists and audiences should behave, when to clap and how to ask for an encore.
The classes are taught by popular Polish stars – previous guests of the Little Song Academy have inlcuded Edyta Jungowska, Ania Wyszkoni, Maria Sadowska, Szymon Wydra, Julia and Jędrek Skiba, Maciej Balcar, Paweł Stasiak, Barbara Melzer, Olga Bończyk, Natalia Kukulska, Katarzyna Skrzynecka, Łukasz Zagrobelny, Katarzyna Groniec, Mariusz Totoszko and Anita Lipnicka. Multi-instrumentalist, composer and arranger Igor Przebindowski is the host of this musical event.
