Opole Days
Several-day celebration of the city and its residents, replete with bustle and vivid colours. The event takes place in May and offers something for everyone. Just drop what you’re doing and come out, meet people and absorb the good vibes of this giant Opole fiesta...
Activities include city tours with historians and architects as guides, night-time museum lessons, outdoor dancing at the pond on Barlickiego Street, outdoor film screenings, karaoke for seniors, cooking shows and workshops, street hip-hop dance battles, field games, antique fairs and evening projection mapping events.
All local cultural and sporting institutions have a lot to offer to the locals and visitors alike during Opole Days, including competitions, exhibitions, events and meetings. Parents with children can enjoy a dedicated Family Picnic with lots of attractions, games and activities such as face painting, soap bubble shows and water rescue and paramedic demonstrations. You can test yourself on a climbing wall or embark on a cruise on the Oder.
And in the evening, why not go to a concert? Artists who have performed during previous editions of Opole Days include Kamil Bednarek, Wojtek Mazolewski, Lady Pank and Ania Dąbrowska.
